More innocent Afghani civilians died by American bombs than those at the World Trade Center on 9/11. (And we never even did get our targets)

He lost me when he insinuated that my antecedents owned slaves. Both sides of my family have been in the US for more than 150 years, and none of them owned slaves.

Shlt, I was almost 37 before I hired a Polish cleaning crew to clean my house, does that make me an oppressor? I tip each of them a double sawbuck at xmas, get off my back.

What's to say? This Socialist chin-dribbler's rant is so full of glossing-over, out of context examples, unproven premises, half-truths, outright lies, and revisionist history that it's barely worth responding to. A few glaring examples of his idiocy, although the whole article amounts to nothing more than an unbroken stream of Jurrassic Commie tripe;

1) The claim that the U.S. "created" Saddam Hussein because contacts were made, and therefore "gave him the tools to maintain power" is not seeing the forest because one tree is in your way. The vast, vast majority of war materiel, technical advisors, and know-how was provided by the Soviet Union, not the West, owing to the Socialist nature and structure of the Baath Party. Iraq fell into the Soviet sphere of influence during the Cold War. Tanks, APCs, fighters (with some French Mirages mixed in), missiles, Kalishnikov's, artillery, and even the "yellow rain" chem weapons were Soviet. The supposed "alliance" between the U.S. and Hussein in the early 80s was only tangental and nominal at best, since we didn't want to see fundamentalist Iran, with 10 times Iraqs population, succeed.

2) The height of Ingorance is perhaps his claim that Naziism stands for "Individiualism over Collectivism". Not only should this denial by him that the NAZIs (National Socialist German Worker's Party) STOOD FOR STATISM and were TRUE BELIEVERS of Socialism indicate to anyone his ignorance, but just how deeply it runs. There's a litany of Nazi leaders' statements (if anyone cares to bother to look it up", that sum up what their Socialist Utopian goal was for it's citizens as minions to the State. To paraphrase one of them; There are no individuals in Germany. A person who thinks they are an idividual is asleep".

The same thing goes for his claim that the Nazis were Capitalist, since the author is a Collectivist (Commie). Commies and Nazis are both Statists, meaning they put the State before the Individual, but they just go about it differently. The old example of the difference between the two;

The Communists come to your dairy farm with guns and seize your land and cows, strip you of the title of ownership for your property and officially transfer it to the State. They force you to work on what was once your own farm for an hourly wage while Party officials try and run it to provide milk for the masses but as always only succeed in running it into the ground because they have no idea what the he11 they are doing when it comes to running a farm.

The Nazis, with an eye towards more effeciency than the Commie system, also come to your dairy farm with guns but tell you can keep the title to your land and cows. In fact you MUST keep the title because they now make YOU responsible for maintaining it's critical output, Milk. The milk you produce however, under the Nazis and just like the Commies, is still owned by the State, the difference being that as the "owner" YOU'RE required to maintain the the farm, feed the cows, and employ the workers. You just don't own anything all that effort and responsibility produces. Of course, Nazi Party officials will be there right beside you, monitoring things and telling you how much milk will be produced. If you can't do it....well....the State will just have to find another "owner", won't they?

Collectivism (Communism) and Naziism are just two slightly different stripes on the Same Socialist, Statist zebra that subordinates the individual and Individual Rights to the State. They just use slightly different means to acheive the same ends. Nazis and Commies weren't idealogical enemies, they were sibling rivals. This author, obviously a proponent of the former, would try to frame an argument wherin he mis-represents his sibling idealogy (Naziism) in order to mis-represent his enemy (Capitalism), for the purpose of pretending there is only one alternative (his musty, dusty, proven-unworkable Communism).

3) Every time he lists a war, he omits critical information when these facts of history serve to indict his idealogy. the Korean War for instance.....no mention that the North Koreans invaded the South in an effort to "unify" the penninsula under their psuedo-Stalinist regime, with the help of Stalin himself and later Mao.

Basically, the authors simplistic, sophmoric, and untruthful tactics regarding his "study" of history are essential for demagogues of his stripe that are apologists and promoters of the Statist, socialist idealogies which killed over 100 million people during the 20th century. Lets not forget that the Baath Party was one of these very same Socialist systems patterened onthe Stalinist one with a dash of Nazi structure. No wonder this guy is so upset at it's downfall.
