But RJET is operating E190s and Airbus' too.

So what is up with DALPA?

They are operating them on a separate certificate (Republic.... DAL outsourcing is on Shuttle America and Shaniqua), thus not "competing." What they are doing is legal.

Doesn't change that DAL has zero intentions of renewing their contract.

You definately need to take this up, with bigger font, to the Delta MEC in 1993.

Crying over spilled milk is fun, isn't it?

What's done has long since been done before most of us on here were even in this industry. This issue now is correcting it...

Have you seen anything official stating Delta has "zero intentions..."? I hope you're right, but....

Its time for ALPA and IBT to say enough and have their MECs refuse to fly these airplanes painted in mailine colors but flown by contract pilots. .....also its time for the pilots at these regionals to refuse to fly them.

Yet Midwest flys code share from MKE to ATL on a 190 got around scope again

any flight from MKE to ATL would be only YX passengers and -0- delta codeshared passengers. Our scope allows them to code their passengers onto our flights but the same cant happen with our passengers on them. Therefore they're not getting around our scope.

Hi!

While I think this is not the greatest thing in the world, what with Republic's "Code Share" getting around some scope restrictions, what is worse is TSA's purchase of MRJs. They ONLY fly feed. So, what are they going to do with their MRJs?????????

I thought under DALPA CBA this aircraft is a non permitted type aircraft. If so then does Republic lose it's code share with DAL? If not, then why not?

The CBA is by Operating Certificate. All Republic has to do is fly it on the Frontier Certificate and there is not a bloody thing that the DAL pilots can do.

Of note this would have been a issues a few years ago, but the language was changed. Most know the reason why.

He is correct. He stated that. What republic has done has not left the execs at DAL very happy. In the end it is one more compitior.

It all adds up when you see that TPG was supporting AMR with JAL. The dots connect.
