I'm sorry for posting something so irrelevant, but I need advice...and I tend to place the advice of my fellow pilots above that of others. (Might be a little naive, but anyway...)

A friend of mine suggested that we go see The Ring, a Naomi Watts movie that came out last year. I just read some reviews of it that included some spoilers, and I'm about half worried that it might scare my poor wife into a miscarriage. I'm not worried about myself since nothing scares me, of course. (Yeah, right! I still haven't recovered from The Exorcist III...which really should be called The Exorcist II, but that's another issue altogether...and this thread is irrelevant enough already!)

Has anybody here seen The Ring? Did you find it particularly disturbing?

(And as I finish this post, I wonder how long it'll take for somebody to turn this into an RJDC thread...)

Dude...

I saw The Ring a few months ago and it IS pretty disturbing. My wife says I'm not allowed to buy it when it comes out on DVD :)
but I will of course. Anyway, I say go see it but leave the wife at home.
"Seven days..."

Thanks for the advice. I think we'll rent it when it comes out and watch it with a room full of lots and lots of people. From what I've read, it's not the kind of movie you watch by yourself! (A couple of friends of mine who are really into horror movies--the kind of guys who giggle when somebody's head goes flying off--said The Ring had them screwed up for days after they saw it. Maybe I'll just skip it altogether...hate to lose my medical now!)
