Or you can fly the same friggin jet at 600 and 100 by applying to CoEx!

C'mon D -

we were all schooled to the fact that they are 100%, completly different, nothing is the same, the Legacy is THE MACHINE. Nothing in common with the other SCoD's...

The performance, the style, the honor....

The WSCoD..

:) .

sounds like an advertisement for the marine corp.

still don't understand why someone defends a jungle jet with a fancy hat

Dude, haven't you read anything LegacyDriver has written? The fancy hat totally makes up for any possible shortcomings of the maginificent WSCoD

Ut Oh, does this mean we are going to see a new member mysteriously appear as a "Wrongfully Terminated WSCoD Driver"????

You can dress it up in burled cabinetry, give it wool carpet, install rich, corinthian leather and give it a regal name....

but

a pig

is still

a pig.

Would that make him an EXWSCoD Driver or a IWUZAWSCoD Driver?

oh boy....

 .

The Legacy IS superior to the GIV...

in one respect--WHO THE ***K DESIGNED THE SPEED TAPE ON THE GIV?!

I mean, it's upside down for crissake!

Ok, I'm through... :p TC

C'mon.....admit it........you applied for it, didn't you? You saw the chance to be a REAL corporate pilot, and just couldn't resist! ;) :D

Im exposed...

Now my self esteem is in the gutter, I have called The View and Dr Phil for help......hope to hear something soon......

Or maybe just start over and go on that MTV "Famous Face" thing and say "Hey, Doc, I always wanted to be a corporate pilot....but I just fly a WSCoD regional jet..I envy others...what can you do to help me??"

:) .

I wonder if I can get "WSCoD" on my license plate...

A good friend of mine had "COORSLT" on his plate for about two years before he got a letter informing him that it was going on the banned list and he had to pick another one. Probably makes it harder to beat a DUI rap advertising that Rocky Mountain swill.

"WSCoD" .

I waited for another of the uninitiated to ask, but they haven't, so I will : What is WSCoD ? Seems to have negative overtones ?

I think its "Whistling $%^#can of Death"

If you've seen my airport Jeep, its appropriate. I like the darn thing though and refuse to give it up.

Anyway, WSCoD is referring to the ERJ bizjet in discussions on Flightinfo.

When LegacyDriver was defending his ride to the hilt in the "Legacy Bashfest - Bring it On" thread (600 some-odd posts and counting), WSCoD (or is it WSoD? - see above for what the acronym means) was a term coined by an ERJ pilot to describe the ERJ-derived Legacy.

god the guy that made that term was a genius. I still reading the thread and Legacy driver is talking about how great the plane is and how much fun it is to fly.

Then this regional pilot gets on and says he's got like 4000hrs in the plane and it's a true WSCOD. That was the best moment ever.

I don't remember the Jungle Jet being that bad. A little slow in the climb in the summer but other than that I recall it being ok. Maybe I was just so excited to be out of a Jetstream I didn't know the difference.

Falcon Capt.--Yep, they fixed it on the V and subsequent.

Now, I just have to make the adjustment for 8-10 months until we trade it in on a 450... You know, the ashtrays are full. :rolleyes:TC

I dunno...I thought it was easier to teach the Glass on the GIV - you pitch down to lower altitudes and higher speeds, pitch up to lower airspeeds and higher altitudes and voila' - that's the way the tapes run on the GIV. The GV is pin selectable - you can make the tapes run anyway you want. On the G550 the tapes are industry standard, but they run in opposite directions from each other. There were a number of pilots in flight test that wanted to keep the tapes on the GV the same as on the GIV - it was a marketing decision to "fix" them.

It's a secret society.....just like BAFAN.... :D

I wish somebody would have made Bafanguy give up the goods on that before telling him the meaning of WSCoD.

Bafanguy, just go ride in an ERJ once and you'll know what everybody is talking about. You might notice the guys up front wearing David Clarks  .

Is it at least the right way on the G-550?

Yo Falc capt , your tagline could be used as a promotional for all WSCOFD crews......eg "its not about the destination its about surviving the trip........ see ya in the fall ;-0)"

Wow, what a conundrum...trying to decide whether for work for someone who...

....on one hand, actually bought is WSCOD.

But on the other hand, is smart enough to recognize that experience flying jets isn't necessary.

Of course, when they include something like "Company will pay for training" in the ad as if that's something special, you know who their target pool of applicants is.

Where do you sign up?...I want to make sure I'm not accidently anywhere near where they want that line to form.

I got a kick out of that also..."company will pay for training!!"....WOO HOO!!

the sad part is that a big change for some.....I wonder if they offer "per diem" also..

 ...

Speaking of WSCoD, I see Little Debbie in CHA now has one. I wouldn't guess thats a compliment to their Citation fleet (Citations get more compliments than WSCoD!!) ;)

Maybe they lost a bet or something and were forced to buy one... That would be about the only logical solution!

Nah, I think they just wanted a regional airliner that actually left on time.

WSCoD has the market cornered again!!!
