Perhaps the same business as a post complaining about another post that one doesn't like?

Just like life, there are a lot of things that pilots are interested in. Apparently, there are sufficient numbers of pilots here that topics like this crop up occaisionally.

I've seen posts that ask what beer goes best with sex, which FBO's have the most attractive counter personnel, which college should be attended, who has the best BBQ, how to best construct a resume, what to do about traffic vilolations on one's record, and the pros and cons of having tattoos. Now except for the mention of an FBO, none of those really have anything to do with flying. That's fine, because they are all things being kicked around by pilots.

I just skip the ones I think might be of no interest, yet I still support the site, and will continue to do so.
Good point.

I just did a quick survey of the "General" forum and it looks like there are only 8 out of 25 topics that are aviation related.
The non-aviation included things like Bush, Gore, Nader, Movies, Pistols, Canada, and several more.

Some of it is good reading, and some isn't, but I like having the choice

Everything mentioned here is aviation related except beer with sex. The original poster knew exactly what was going to happen when he posted this topic. It's a free country, he/she can post whatever they want. I just think it's sad this comes up so frequintly. I wouldn't go to a bible message board and rant about flying.

Someone interested in aviation will come across this site read this thread and think were all a bunch of wackos. This is a great tool for the promotion of aviation, not the bible.

Oh.

Speaking of BBQ, I hope to have a report on Brother Jimmy's in Manhattan at the end of the week.

:D

"i know some will say just don't read these threads"

If you don't like the subject, you certainly don't need to click on this thread so you can complain about it. That's silly.

(Note to mods) I've never donated to this site but just did because of this thread.

Can't wait to see the film. I'm a little scared about what it might do it me but looking forward to it at the same time.

Supposedly, the film strives to be true to the accounts, and can be a little on the unnerving side when showing with the level of violence Christ endured.

Certainly, it will make people think. For some, it will be their first exposure to the gospel.

Talk about making a first impression...

The movie is about the last 12 hours of Christ's life. Does that start somewhere around the Garden of Gethsamane? Just curious. Thanks

I am really looking forward to seeing this film, I also hope it will open a few eyes and make some realize what had taken place many many years ago. I think the release date of this film is perfect since the Easter season is underway. My hat is off to Mel for the hard work that he put into this one, probably his best work to date.
