Yea Lloyd Carr is having the same problem lately. Their Bowl record is crappy and they seem to just fold in the 4th quarter of big games (Rode Bowl last year, OSU this year, and the Alamo Bowl).

Hopefully he will fire Jim hermman (defensive coordinator) and change offensive coordinators.


Exact opposite thing with Bo Schembechler. He never won a national championship, but won his bowl games and beat OSU. So he was around for a long time.

Lloyd better becareful, going 1-4 verse OSU in the past 5 years has people in Michigan screaming for his head. He did do soemthing Bo never did, won a National Championship(Well split it with Nebraska, then lost to nebraksa this year, sigh)

young may go pro, but i honestly can't remember the last texas underclassman to declare early for the nfl draft under mack brown. it started with ricky, and has continued to this day. he's managed to convince some pretty freakish talent to remain on the 40 acres for their senior years.

regardless, next year's game in austin ought to be a top 5 matchup, and i wouldn't miss it for the world.

osu won't end up #1 or 2...they are losing 9 starters off the defense and houston (pk).

OSU will not even be top 3 in the big 10. And that's really not saying much, the big 10 isn't even a good conference, like the PAC-10.

:crying: :bawling: Young leaving for the pros...I wish him the best, but i think he is making a mistake. He will NOT go #1 in the draft, as he thinks, but he will still make the $$$$$$!!!! Maybe Mack should have put more pressure on him to stay, oh well, $hit happens. I am very dissappointed that he went this way, especially since we have a current #1 ranking which will most likely go down before next season begins now that he is leaving. But on a positive note, OSU definately stands a better chance now that he is gone...you will still lose, but you have better odds now!


And NO, just because i work for a Columbus based company does not mean i am a closet OSU fan. In fact I cannot stand anything about that poor a$$ state!!! I always hated going through CMH/ LCK, and stayed as far away as possible.
