The Media are such Idiots

I really must say that the Media never ceases to amaze me on how idiotic they are.

Tonight the FoxNews channel reported that a Navy "F-3 Viking" crashed off the end of the Connie because of an apparent hydraulic systems failure reducing their ability to use their brakes on landing. Also according to them the aircraft did not properly catch "cord that stops the jet."

I just have to laugh at their stupidity. True not everyone is educated about the military but you would think that their "embedded reporters" would at least take the time to educate themselves.

As for Peter Arnett, he should be charged with treason and shot. He deserves everything that is coming to him. Hopefully a 2000-pounder right up his A$$.

In the wake of the Air Midwest crash, I was watching CNN shovel so much s**t it made me call the newsroom in Atlanta.

1. They said the aircraft was "fully fueled" with 4400lbs of fuel for a one hour trip.

2. They constantly said it was a D model (they got that right) but display a Colgan 1900C on their screen.

3. When they finally got the picture right they said that the aft cargo door is where they boarded the passengers.

4. Since the flight was so short, a flight attendant was not required.

The media does not know sh*t.

I think the integrated media is more of a risk than any (and I question any) benefit that they provide.

Did any of you see Lisa Dhue (as hot as she is) make a complete fool of herself talking about aircraft carriers last night? She said they have everything including a Justice of the Peace??? Last time I checked, they weren't performing marraiges onboard ships. Then she was talking about landings on the carrier and said to the military analyst, who was a retired AF F-16 pilot, "I'm sure you have lots of experience with that..." to which he replied, "Well actually, I was an Air Force pilot and we don't land on carriers..." It was pretty funny to watch her stutter and stammer trying to recover.
