To all,

Trying to stay up to date with all the happens, as you all know it changes daily.

Was hoping to have guys and gals post the numbers to their respective MEC hotlines.

Thanks
AA

We don't have a MEC and we don't have HOTLINES...hope that helped you out. If not, call that 1-800 number seen on the back of semi trucks....

Thanks FN,

Forgot how friendly everyone on this website is now. Don't worry, Doug Parker PMed me and basically told me to go EAT SH&T. Atleast your response was not as mean.

This board is becoming a real class act.

Ooops, I'm sorry, meant to say...various and sundry semi trucks.

Why would you be asking for MEC phone numbers? Did you get drunk and fall down in an alley and lose your wallet or did you just not keep in touch with your squadron buddies for a while? Just curious...I'm not privy to these things and it seems like an odd request.

First of all, if you were furloughed, dont ya think you'd be keeping tabs?

Second of all, if you were a guy looking to get in, wouldn't your buds be getting you the info?

Seems weird to me, but maybe I don't have the BIG PICTURE...maybe the education will be worth bugging you for the answer? Like I said, I don't know the protocol or the situaiton, so it looks kind of weird looking in from the outside. Maybe you can clear it up for me?

Hey FN FAL -

What the difference between a bad golf shot and a bad skydive ???

A bad golf shot goes like this - WHACK, "Oh Sxxt"

and a bad skydive - "Oh Sxxt", WHACK

:)

Not furloughed, never flew in the military, just like coming to this website, many of the code-a-phone messages keep you up to date with what is going on at other companies. Haven't had anything to drink tonight either.

Sorry the request sounds so wierd.

Sorry dude, it just seemed like a weird question. That's why I proposed the "BIG PICTURE". I don't have that!

I don't have a beef with AA or AMR or applicants or employees...it just seemed like a weird request to me. Sorry to have judged so quickly, but once again, if you were furloughed, I would have thought you'd have the number! Carry on! :D

Is AAL hiring? Not that I want to apply, It just seemed the latest news was of a work slow down or some threat of a strike?

Hahaha! :D That's true! No wonder skydivers are such fun golfers...losing only costs em a beer!

Ahhhh...don't fret. I'm a nobody and I picked up on the MEC thing. It just seemed like a weird request to me...as a "net" detective and person who has been around fliers and flying for a while, I'd do the flatfooting myself, before asking on a forum. Here's what I found...

Good luck on your career and sorry I jumped your shat...
