Southern Cross 7, there are lots of jobs in the guard. It just depends on what your interests may be. A lot of people start off being the p*** test officer and work their way up from there. Talk to the officer recruiter from the local unit you are interested in or go to the GOANG website.

Ospreys out of where?

By the way...if he is hoping to fly, Ospreys is NOT the place to be. It is called the CV-22-180...taxis out and then does a 180 back to the ramp for a MX cancel.

Tacos.

It came down to them a few months ago. I should find out if it has been finalized what they were doing, there was talk of being a joint unit with either the F-22s at Holloman or with the V-22s and MC-130s at Kirtland.

They are unhappy about it how it happened, but at least they will still probably have a flying mission.

Hi!

Currently, there are a LOT of C-130 and KC-135 jobs open all around the country.

I have even considered this, God forbid!!!

Most C-130 units are full and most have waiting lists. The time to get into and stay in a guard unit was three years ago, when the economy was good

And on top of that with all the TFI shenanigans going on, I heard the newest one on the AFRC herc shuffle is 120 day stints to the suck with no midpoint breakup or 40-day fragmenting. That's gonna be awesome for morale and retention. What a c@ckjob.... AD life without AD pay baby! win-win right!?!?

Yes, I was at Seymour. I have been in the guard since 1997 and jetblue since 2002. By the way--who is this--
