I'm sure I've made few friends on here by defending the French over the past week (actually defending the French right to disagree more than actually defending the French). I just hate to see the US descend into rabid jingoism.
Having said that, and at the risk of starting a French bashing thread, I heard a quote from an aquaintance in the British military the other day that I just had to share...
"Going to war without the French is like going deer hunting without your accordian"
I thought this was great!
I dont know if any of you active duty, deployed types read this board, but if so...Give 'em Hell tomorrow!
