I was dropping one of our airplanes in SLW last week to get painted and saw it in the shop getting masked. The ASA mechanic said all special paint schemes were getting the new DL colors.

Obviously you've never been anywhere else

With the exception of this job, there's really no NEED to go anywhere else...

Most beautiful women in the world are from Texas, no question. Even the ones from far far far south Texas.

I hate Texas like any other Atheist liberal but I think that was a pretty sharp looking airplane.

I always hated going to DFW, but i have to agree the OPs there were awesome. As far as the BlueBonnet,. UGH! I HATED flying that plane,. UGLY.. and slider 1 (the ATL schemed plane in which the gear collapsed) wasnt much better. The Olympic paint was cool.

Slider 1 was a Brasilia. (So was Slider 2)

The RJ that had the gear collapse was Slider 3 if I remember.

There is a saying, 9 out of 10 Texas women are beautiful. The 1 goes to Rice. If you have ever been on the Rice campus you tend to believe that.

So why were they called slider?

Funny how it works, but when the gear isn't down, the plane slides to a stop. Who needs brakes?

I wasn't here for it, but apparently there was some weird way that the gear horn could be avoided or caused to not work.

The first one was in Brazil, was it not? Not sure about Slider 2...

As a Texan I take exception to that statement, maybe you haven't seen the aircraft? Also, it closes the chapter on what had to be the best time at ASA. The DFW hub rocked, hands down.

Cheers- Rum

Amen

And yes, the "ant hill" is still the ugliest aircraft ever operated!

This is a universal problem...not limited to Texas. As a society, we reallly screwed up when we made the mistake of letting women think we care about what they have to say...

I wasn't talking about the "universal problem". I was talking about the accent.
