$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

When will we get the equity in our B-funds?

A good time to buy DAL stock? No?

Discuss.
If you are a Trader: No, better time is about a week after the date of corporate closure. Let it do a dead cat bounce on the news, then buy.

Keep your ears open to folks like ACL on any hints you can get prior to quarterly earnings.

If you are an Investor: Then timing is not as important as the fundamentals. The airline has a lot going for it and should be a long term winner. You might wait until first and second quarter numbers are out and read the transcripts of the conference calls, of course by then Delta will be above its current bargain price.

But there is a lot of reasons not to consider airline stocks as long term investments. There are so many risks to the business model from crashes to international health scares to oil price spikes and international unrest. Just this week Iran and North Korea were again threatening to leave nearby countries in ruins.
