Yesterday on moneyline with lou dobbs was a story about the eclipse. they have a backlog of orders for 3 years even though the air taxi contract fell thru. it takes its first flight in about 2 weeks. unit cost is about 800 grand.
the founder is a man that was microsoft employee number 18.
he enlisted bill gates as a heavy backer. the market is for corporate middle management as opposed to just the CEO. the cockpit is as advanced as a 777.
this could really open up the corporate market. so keep pluggin away better times are ahead.
