It's 2:47am and I had a lot of caffeine tonight and have been on this board probably longer than I ever have before.

As I was searching through some threads I started to think how awesome it was that many of you take the time to answer questions and in a lot of cases really help someone out. Heck I wouldn't be surprised to learn that some of your replies may have saved a life or two. Sure some of the people on here are complete whackos that are totally off their rocker, but that's everywhere and just another fact of life. All in all almost everyone on this board freely gives their best advice and time to others. I have learned a lot from this place and those that have contributed their advice and opinions (you know who you are). So I figured the least I could do was say [type] Thank You! So Thanks everyone (even to the complete whackos, at least you guys are entertaining). I want to especially Thank the people that manage this site and keep it up and running! Everyone please fly safe and good night to all (actually good morning)!!!

Seconded

I, too, probably spend more time on the board than I should (and, I'm sure there are those who will agree! :) ). But the board has been my lifeline back to aviation. I had left aviation 9½ years ago because I really had no choice. I was 42 and getting nowhere with it fast. After that time, I hadn't thought much about aviation until I found the board two years ago. Then, I realized that I missed aviation, and especially discussions with pilots. That's why I participate so much. I've met some great people on this board.

What really amazed me is that little had changed in eight years. Same concerns about building time. Same concerns about getting hired. Same debates about the regs and logging time. Same gripes about the same companies. I still tend to think in terms of earlier times; as it turns out, the times now aren't much different than in the early '90s.

It's great. Keep up the great discussions.

bandwagon time

I was going to make smart a$$ remark, but this bored has helped me through my ever slowing evolution through the certs.

I read through the endless pages everyday and learn something new every time. Thanks for everything.

Couldn't agree more. Everyone here is the Shiznit. Even the crazies.

Thanks but we preferred to be called nuts, it's more dignified.

On a personal note, and on behalf of two-fisted drinkers everywhere, I would like to thank Miller Brewing Company for quenching mid-Flightinfo.com session thirsts and taking the edge off of life in general. Miller. 12 ounces to freedom....

Cheers,
Skyking;)
