This thread is a new low for this board. And we want to be called professionals. Sad. -Bean
Perhaps it's just me, but all of the guys that I know who are working in this industry have told me that the jumpseat is a professional courtesy extended from one pilot to another. I'm not employed by any airline right now, but I'd like to think that being a airline pilot would mean that you're part of a much larger group of professionals than just the company you happen to work for. God willing I'll be able to call myself an airline pilot someday soon, and I'd like to think that if I needed a ride that a crew would judge me as a peer regardless who I work for. Nobody wants to work for a "crappy" company, but we are pilots, we do what the company and our respective unions want us to do. Beyond that there is little control over what happens to the company that you happen to work for. I'm not looking to start a war over who sucks and who doesn't, but a pilot is a pilot, we all have the same primary goal in mind, start and end every flight in the safest manner possible. If I'm off base then I'm sure I'll hear about it, but at the end of the day we are all pilots and not management right??

stupid

I read all of you "pilots" blasting each other on this board and it makes me laugh. All SOME of you are is egotistical self-centered know it alls who think you own the world. You don't own the world and you're not the most important people on the planet because you fly an airplane. Realize that already.

You seem to be a very confused person...are you a dispatcher for Mesa??? (that would explain the confusion) Anywho, you are just feeling sorry for yourself on the fact that you dropped out of flight school to be a dispatcher. You need to live with your decision and fess up to the fact that Pilots are gods; period.

Go get my breifing B!0thch!!!!

And someone said the kids were over on jetcareers? I agree, the responses to this thread bring the board to a new low. Grow up lowlifes.

Go home and play with yourself. If you don't like the thread don't read it. PS you probably work for Mesa or you and your 300 hrs of c152 time can't find that elusive airline job. However just send Mesa an application, they will hire you.

Here's a few Mesa training films.

#396- Basic Indoc
#502- Advanced Indoc
#696-Mesa MECC
#460-Upgrade Sim. Trng.
#96-Mesa Instructor Trng.

These are archived film clips. If anyone has any additional updated Mesa Training films please post.

another intelligent response
No, you are confused. I have never had the intention of being a pilot and I did not drop out of anything.

what airline you work for?

That was a message that was sent to me by the Mesa dispatcher...

Talk about Denial of Reality!!!!

Beat it D!ckw@@D!!! If you don't have anything constructive to say about mesa like;

What a bunch of a@@holes or bottomfeeders or go f*uck yourselves.

or the mesa pilot group has no balls...

Do you understand were I am going with this???

Mooser

who do you work for, mooser

I still want to know.

You're so smart and into it? What big regional do you work for?

third time asking who Mosser works for

Since he skirted the issue for the third time now, I'm going to assume that mosser doesn't work for a real part 121 airline.

If you are indeed a Part 121 pilot and have a complaint about Part 121 operations, you probably might want to take this up with a real Part 121 chief pilot.

I don't think you're a Part 121 pilot though. I think you're jealous. You can't find a job.

What's goin on...

It seems to me, and this is just my .02 cents, maybe the psych major comin out, maybe just common sense....for a guy to bash a customer on his airline he would have to be one unhappy individual; maybe pi$$ed off about work, maybe not gettin laid enough...who knows...Now before yall start bashin me about how I don't know sh*t cause I dont fly for a living or anything like that...I'm just tryin to get a perspective on this. After the post everyone starts bashin everyone else. Is everyone that ticked off in this industry?...that it has to come to everyone verbally bashing each other. If everyone critiques everyone elses employers...ie..Mesa pilots are gettin screwed, bringin the industry down, eagle pilots are screwed for life, with no chance of upgrade...ect..(just takin stuff that I've read off of the boards before don't quote me on that) is there anywhere you can work where you don't have some other pilot bashin ya all the time? Are there any "happy" pilots out there or does the flyin for the livin gig just sour everything once ya start? I dunno...seems like I'm gettin myself into one h*ll of a career y'all paint the picture well....oh well...at least all of yall can say, "Can't say we didn't warn you..."

Peace
LT

Another who has no dog in this fight, but...

A pilot has absolutely no right to berate the spouse of a pilot at another airline. An ASA pilot on an AWA flight lecturing the wife of a Mesa pilot??? Gimme a fuggin' break! Haven't we all heard enough of the Mesa/CHQ bashing from pilots of the WOs? Everybody is hoping both ASA and XJT MECs are able to get the "regional airline" bar up where it belongs. Some pilot groups need to concentrate on their own battles rather than the past...

I hope when I'm married, my wife will have the good sense to punch arrogant bastards like this in the nuts.

I agree, we have reached a new low on this board. The 4th-grade mentality so exemplified on this board is the same thing that makes regional airline managements laugh all the way to the bank. The mods need to yank this thread.
