Just drove my new jeep( thanks ebay!) back from Texas and I gotta say Texans are some of the most friendly people . The food was great ( BBQ BBQ and more BBQ) The weather was great . As soon a s I got back to the east coast Reality struck . You texans are very fortunate!! vavso

Hi

San antonio - canyon park then drove northeast through state had some great BBQ would have stayed longer but had to drive to New York ( took 1 1/2 days) Vavso

I would have to disagree. I get run over all the time by people with texas tags. Some of the most rude drivers that I have ever come across. The BBQ is awesome, however I can't say the same about the football... Too many hispanics for me, most speak no engles!

Lived there for a couple of year's (was asked to leave when they found out my visa had expired :D )
still go back a couple of times a year ,great people ,food and lots of space(i live in a very small country)

Neil

As a fifth generation texan..thanks.
I apologize for some of the "wannabe" texans that drive like cr*p and do rude stuff ...around Dallas anyway. Most people are pretty nice here, yes.. especially in the smaller cities.

Ive lived here my whole life. Seen 98% of the state, and love every bit of it. With the vast diffrent geographic regions their is something for everyone. Just keep the yanks up north, and dont let them ruin this state.

If you think the weather is great, just be around the coast during a hurricane or in the panhandle during a tornado. It gets interesting.

As for getting run over, the speed signs are minimum speeds.

Texas, where else can you find bumper stickers that read, "If you love NY, take I30East"

:D

Ahhhh reminds me of the blonde big breasted Continental stewardess I dated during my time around San Antonio...

A summer of thunderstorm seeding in a Cessna 340, and the rest of the time, chasing tail...made for a fun summer.
