I think you are right. I wouldn't claim him either. Credibility on the internet is not the norm. Probably will come back as his flight instructor next.

The truth is he is correct. you he will be on the otherside. obviously that statement stuck with you. Good luck At your interview that is if you even recieve one.

Hmmm. And I'm sure that everybody on here is just holding their breath to go work for a company that hasn't interviewed in several years, hasn't made money in even longer, and has furloughed pilots on the street.

In all reality, it's almost a true statement. Your dad will be on the other side of the table at the interview. Except odds are that he'll be the one interviewing.

Perhaps you need to learn a bit about respect for those who have been there and done that. While FI has it's share of attitude, keeping an open mind and non-defensive stance is always the best way to go. Particularly if you are looking to learn and succeed around this industry. (You can't ride on your daddy's coat tails for ever, and he certainly won't help you land your first job in the industry)

Holy ******************** this guy's looking for a backhand... hopefully some day he finds it.

If he's an ROTC candidate, he'll get it the instant that he mouth's off to some crusty old Master/First Sergeant as a butter bar "know everything" LT.

I like the post you promply deleted about how you're dad was friends with the pilots that were on board the plane that hit the WT towers on 9/11 so we better show some respect. Why did you decide to delete it? Remember, if you post, the email will be recieved by anyone subscribed to the thread....and you can't delete that.

My condolences to the lost souls of 9/11.

Are you still at 13 hours or do you need to update your profile?

And how will your dad get you an interview for an airline that is not hiring?
