I would try some other way
As for lower end 135's the MX is rather good for as much as they fly. They have a lot of touch and go flights, ie Shreport, Hou, Aus to Sat, to aus to Sat to aus to shreport and then pass out. The pay is not that great but as your ability to fly their various aircraft grows so does your salery. The companies try to intiminate fresh pilots and have given up on the seasoned guys. If you survive or pass the first 6 months though you will be fine for the next three years. It may be longer in this present economic market. Good luck!!!
