I was looking on climbto350.com and there was a blurb about a cargo job: Telsis Air Freight but I can't find any more info.
Does anyone know more about this company (telephone # address etc...)

Thanks everybody

telesis=Projet...same company ;)

they fly 402's, areostars, and a single engine critter that i cant recall, out of Love Field.

found it...

Projet International Express, Inc.
callsign: Projet
Dallas, TX

i cant seem to find much more about them as of yet.
probably a parent company name that owns Telsis.

...other way around young gwasshoppa'. Telesis owns Pro-jet ;)

what do you wanna know Dallas? i doubt they are hiring right now...however GTA is rumored to need a pilot or two (same airport, works for Telesis exclusively also)

I was just looking for more info. GTA, PROJET, TELSIS.... what is this company about. I have been told that they aren't so hot in terms of maintenance and scheduling (there don't
schedule!)

AND, how does anybody get in touch with them? (no number in the yellow pages... no web site...?)

I all that I hear is true... other suggestions in terms of alternatives?

I would try some other way

As for lower end 135's the MX is rather good for as much as they fly. They have a lot of touch and go flights, ie Shreport, Hou, Aus to Sat, to aus to Sat to aus to shreport and then pass out. The pay is not that great but as your ability to fly their various aircraft grows so does your salery. The companies try to intiminate fresh pilots and have given up on the seasoned guys. If you survive or pass the first 6 months though you will be fine for the next three years. It may be longer in this present economic market. Good luck!!! DO NOT EVEN CALL OR INQUIRE INTO TO TEXSTAR!!!!
PM me if your querious

Ben

well, i dont know about their maint...GTA is forever backing them up because something-or-another is busted, and they wont be able to make the show time.

and their pay is the best of the three in Dallas no matter which way you slice it.

Texstar is full at the moment, unless some of those guys find out that the Atlanta gig isnt all its cracked up to be, then a few slots may open up.

...and i correct my last comment on Pro-jet and hiring. i talked to them today, and it seems they are looking for a pilot or two. but they are using a 250 multi minimum :(

I was hired last week and start training next week. Don't know how many more they plan to hire, but I suspect they are almost back up to capacity.

The interview was a month long ordeal via email and a few phone calls, followed by a short face-to-face in Dallas. 250 multi is correct.

They seem like good people and the pilot I know, who already works there, likes it. I'm looking forward to getting back in the left seat and getting my hands on the controls for a change.
