Hey fellow B190 drivers, I was wondering if any of you have tried this Telex ANR 850 lightweight headset in the cockpit?

The 1900 isn't that noisy up front without headsets, but hearing ATC over the speaker can be challenging. I'm wondering if the ANR on this set would be enough to offset the small (non-enclosed) earpieces. What think ya'll?

ANR's

Hey Dave,
I flew the beech for years with the Telex ANR 200. It's analog and is very lightweight. Did a good job all around, a little noisy on the standard redline descents, other than that comfy and quiet. I picked up my second pair of 200's for only $200, since they're discontinued for the Digital pair. I tried the digital ones and couldn't tell enough of a difference to warrant paying $250 additional dollars.
The batteries last at least 80 hours of flying, too.
