Telex 850

Anybody using the new Telex 850? In a turboprop or jet? Driving a Jetstream now and getting sick of the DC's clunkyness. Too many headaches.

Would you prefer earplugs in your ears all day or the David Clamps? The 850s ANR is not good enough in a turboprop. It barely works in a loud jet.

I wouldn't recommend them. . . but I've only tried them in an RJ.

ClearRight, I think you may be mistaking the 750 for the 850. I can tell you I bought the 850's and they work great in the RJ. I can hear just as well with the 850's as with my old DC's. I highly recommend them for the RJ. Don't know about turboprops.
