telex 850

has anybody used the new telex 850? any problems in the crj? Best online prices?

Haven't tried them, but I hear that they get their power from the hot mike... therefore the hot mike has to stay on.

I have had mine for about 2 1/2 months now.

BIG difference in the CRJ, I look at the volume knob and it is about 1/2 of what it use to be. Even does a good job at speeds over 310.

Have had no complaints from other pilots about the hot mic, have had several tell me my mic is much more clearer than those wiith 750's.

I got mine from E-bay.. paid $240 for a new set.
