Telex 5x5 and E-170

I use a Telex 5x5 with a custom earpiece in what I currently fly....anyone use it in the 170? If it sucks, have any good suggestions?

Worked fine for me. As long as the person your flying with is using DC's. Then you have to turn it up pretty high. I use a radio shack in-line volume control to help it.

As long as you are not busting Scope clauses I hear they work great!

I've seen a few guys use the Telex 5x5 and the 750's, but they both usually have their volume cranked. Give them a try...

Suggestions? It depends on what you can afford. The best I think are the Sennheiser H25 ANRs. US Airways bought three sets for each E170 they purchased. Excellent headset. Unfortunately, they all disappeared after the aircraft moved to RPA.
