That's just it. Flying isn't difficult at all.

You are correct. Flying doesn't kill anyone, it's the bad decisions and shoddy judgement that do the killin'.

In the beggining what made me most apprehensive was his overconfidence, from "knowing" how to fly because of his expirience in the right seat turbo props. Once I was able to convince him that his expectations were unrealistic, that safe + proffesional piloting comes from hand on expirience and not spectating.. things became significantly easier.

You should ask him if he will teach you the in's and out's of his business.

Avoid this at all cost ,unless , he says UR fired if you don't teach me !
