I'm doing the contract pilot gig, but I haven't set up an LLC or incorporated myself. Can I still deduct any training expenses for further type ratings or job-related education without having an LLC/Inc. established?
If you are a sole proprietor of your business, you can write off training and items pertaining to the business. The next time you do your taxes, have a pro do them. It's amazing the things you can deduct.
