Times ticking. What equipment are your companies looking at? What about Bendix/King/Allied Signal line KGP-560 and soon to come out KGP-860 Class B to interface with Collins EFIS 85 MFD and Universal UNS-1M (GPS)? How about Piedmont-Hawthorne's KINT shop?

CVSFLY:

If you get any good SPECIFIC info about EGPWS/TAWS solutions, please let me know (or PM me). I also need to come up with a plan for the B200 that I fly, which, coincidentally, also has the EFIS85 and a Universal UNS1C. We are also considering DRVSM equipment, so if you know anything about that, I'd be interested.

Sorry for piggybacking your thread, but I have a related question. Does anyone know the current state of the legal battle between all of the terrain warning system manufacturers? The last I heard, UNS and others were being sued by another company for patent infringement.

BTW, the Universal TAWS, UNS1 combination is quite nice.

regards,
enigma

There's also the lawsuit from some dude that was able to patent the colors of the rainbow. Apparently he thinks that the green used on the displays is infringing on his patent.

What asylum did they let that a** out of?
