"Tango November"

Has anyone else heard this before the numbers on a callsign before? What does the Tango mean?

"T" denotes "air taxi"...its in the AIM.

notice how nobody ever used it till after 911 and we had to use it to be able to fly.

I do hear less and less people using it again.

It means "come ramp check me"
