Saw a couple talon aircraft for sale online. Heard some folks laid off. Fly to Europe within one hour, live in LI...no thanks, sounds like a wonderful place mr. Kauffman.

What's the latest with Talon Air? As stated in the dated article above, they added a Hawker 4000 and maybe a Legacy to their Gulfstream, Hawker and Beechjet fleets. I know a guy with Hawker 800XP time (just laid off) who is looking around.

Is Talon Air hiring or are they contracting like other operators? Good place to be in terms of pay, QOL, schedules, etc.?

In case anyone is unaware, the tail number on the Legacy is N18BM - guess who those initials stand for ..............

Bernie Madoff himself! That bird won't be around much longer.
