The other day I counted 5 Eva Airlines Cargo planes on the ramp in Anchorage. In addition, I saw 4 China Airlines Cargo planes coming and going during the same 2 hour period.

For the last couple of months it seems like alot of Taiwan based cargo flights are coming and going through ANC. Sure they always have had flights but the frequency now seems higher than ever.

It seems like an extraordinary number of cargo flights for such a small island nation. Are any U.S. based carriers getting any of these cargo flights or is Taiwan keeping all the business for themselves?
