One radar for Air to Ground and for Air-air?
One low sweep then a high one?? is that how it works? Or am I clueless?

Or can you only do one at a time? Just curious.

Fighter/bomber or attack (?tactical) aircraft, if that's what you're referring to, have only one radar. If it has both air-to-ground and air-to-air capabilities, it typically will do one or the other.

Radar waveforms/frequencies/etc. that are effective in ground mapping and weapons delivery against ground targets are significantly different from those optimized for air-to-air detection, tracking and weapons guidance. In modern aircraft, the ability to switch between the two modes is usually not difficult and tactics/mission/threat considerations will usually dictate how the modes are employed.

Your joking right? Lets talk capabilities over an internet forum.......

 Good grief. Lighten up. You can answer the guy's questions very easily without addressing specific aircraft and their capabilities. There's plenty of unclassified information on radar capabilities and modes available everywhere on the internet. It's only been around since WW2.
