Yeah, like it being a solo IP, for example. No, it was an RA jet, according to the press. I'd put my money on it being an IFF jet, not a PIT jet, based on a couple of things in the press release.

I was unaware that IFF guys are flying at RND nowadays...I thought IFF was only conducted at Moody and Sheppard.
You're right. I'll avoid the speculation. That's all it is.... a guess.I think I'll just wait for the 30 day report on this recent mishap...![]()
All SUPT bases and RND will eventually have IFF if not in-place already.
I was in one of the last IFF classes at RND in 2001. So unless they've moved it back from Moody, I'd bet it's a PIT jet.
Well, they're moving back. And believe it or not, after 6 years, they're in trailers in the parking lot ---- yet again! I s^1T you not!!!So unless they've moved it back from Moody, I'd bet it's a PIT jet.

The 435th moved back to Randolph starting back circa October '06 and just had the change of command standing it up full time at RND this month.
Is the "squadron car" still alive? I remember when Ghoul was getting ready to drive it out to GA...couldn't fill the tank past 1/2 full because there was a leak in it!![]()
