Damn Rice, that one sounds PERFECT for you!

Now....hows does one go from SFO-Malaga in a Citation. Jeeesus thats scary!

Holy Crap! Just great circle is 5183NM which would equate to about 15 hours (non-stop...hahaha), more figuring Blue Spruce route. So, a MINIMUM of five stops enroute. Good heavens folks, buy a GV and get over it!

Next 1000TT for this type of international work...SINGLE PILOT! Yeah, we'll be reading the NTSB report on this one!

Do you get guaranteed days off...

and what's the e-mail address to submit.

Gotta figure the QOL is pretty good. Spain right.

single pilot---just some semi-rich guy that needs a safety pilot to help get his put-put to spain a couple times a year.

Love the Avatar buddy!!!!!!!!!
Send that one to me when ya get a chance.
I hear Gumby's taking the plunge next week, hope his fate is better than mine.

Hopefully, the idea is that you fly the airplane by yourself between SFO and Malaga, and Mr. Bigbucks goes first class on Iberia. Then, you fly him around for a few months, and repeat the process in the other direction.

If I didn't have a family and the pay was decent (unlikely, but you never know), it could be a fun gig for a while.

who needs fuel stops, just take it straight to 410 for 1200 miles and best glide for the last 4000, piece a' cake.

Isn't Citation trying to get air refueling legalised? they would only need a 172 with a small probe to fuel a 501.

You mean to tell me that they don't REQUIRE you to already have a type rating and 5 zillion hours in type and a golden crotch? it's amazing how ridiculous the minimums are getting! I joined climbto350.com recently and with 3200 hours 500+ turbine and 350+ actual, I barely meet the mins for jobs that I would have been overqualified for when I had 2000 hours?!... AND, they all pay $h1t... I guess that is what happens when you can go from zero to airline pilot in 6 months! Seems like most of the jobs (outside of the commuters) that one with my experience qualifies for, are those that are overseas. Anyhow, sorry for the ranting, I just had to get it off my chest.

take it for face value....

for example, every single job I have gotten to date I have not met the hour "requirements" for.
