What was said at the open house in June was basically the 1000 TPIC requirement was artificially low. The people they were hiring mainly had 1300 hours or greater. So, I wouldn't expect the requirement to go back down until demand exceeds supply. I have no idea when that would happen.

I doubt they would lower it. Everyone and their dog wants to work there, so I am sure they are getting enough apps.

Actually you need current PIC time, the type, and a little luck. If you haven't logged PIC time in the last 3 years, you probably will not get called.
