Midge, I've only been moderating for a little over a year, this board got way out of hand LONG before that, and is why the other boards saw a large up-tick in their membership roles.

Yes, it makes it harder to bring the board back to civility, although I think this board is pretty useful for information, just have to sift through the crap to get to useful things (posts past page 3 or 4 usually go downhill pretty quickly and contain less and less useful data).

As for the rest, well, don't know what tell you, except that I believe I have a right to my opinion, as does everyone else on here, as long as it's communicated respectfully and within the ToS, which is why I removed myself from moderating these discussions. It's definitely a thankless job, and probably why mods don't usually last more than a year or two before they take a hiatus or quit completely...

Lear:
Thanks for the civil response (something not usually found here).
I guess I didn't get my point across. No matter what you do, as a moderator, you're going to be crucified because of your MODERATOR status. Of course you can comment on any thread, but you'll be chastized as someone who's, "flexing his MOD status," does that make sense?
Seriously, good luck in your merger with Southwest, you guys when all this stuff is worked out will be one powerful airline.

Midge
