Does anyone know how SWA feels about single engine turbine PIC being used to meet their minimums? I know they interview anyone who meets their minimums (and that they don't require multi turbine PIC) but has anyone ever been hired there with say 1000 turbine PIC in a Caravan and no other turbine PIC?
Thanks.

yes

Yes they have. You might have to wait longer than someone with jet PIC because these are competitive times and they do put experience into the equation when they call for interviews, but eventually you should get called. Note: They (the people that are managing the pool) had a meeting two days ago to discuss whether or not they want to keep accepting applications, and I don't know what the result of that meeting was.
Good Luck...

need 737 type eventually

I was told by higher power that you need 500 multi to qualifiy for 737 type. remember that there are thousands of pilots with "heavy time" trying to get those few jobs not to mention the hundreds in the hiring pool.
