Word on the street is SWA is in need of instructors in DAL both sim and ground. I haven't found much info on FI here. Does anyone know what life is like and if indeed they are looking for this?

thanks

I personally don't anything about the sim instructor's jobs, but I found this on one of our other forums. Hope is helps a little.

"Interview is very similar to that for a line pilot position. Pay during training is not so good. Training is about three months. Once "captain qualified" it's about 75 k per year. 10 days off per month."

Almost positive there is a three year minimum before you are able to apply as a pilot. After your three year commitment you can apply and go through the same interview process as a street pilot.
