SWA Online App is up again

Submitted application and then went back and edited..no problems.

When you logged back in, did you use the create/edit application or review/edit account? When I select either of these options, just my basic information is still there. The employment, aircraft breakout etc is missing.

I went to review and edit and all info is still there, no problems logging in or out.

For you guys that have completed the app... Can you change anything after your done, or are there certain fields that will be permanent? I see that "Done" button on the bottom of the pages, does that mean done with the page, or done with everything. Just want to do it right the first time....

I havent had any problems logging in and making changes, so far.

Once you have everything filled in and saved you can come back and edit any item that you have filled in. hope that helps.

Still Not Working for me

Again, after I'm all done and preview it everything is there. Once I select done ( and it says confirmation recieved) I click on create/edit and all info is gone except basic name and address. everything else is blank. Am I missing something on the last page where it says done/preview? Thanks

Lifter,
I think you are trying to use the wrong spot to edit the app. Above is how it is shown on the SWA page. The "Review/Edit Account" is only for the basic account info. "Create/Edit Application" is where you can make changes to all other info. Every time you open "Create/Edit Application", it will open up in a review page of what you have already filled in, and allow you to make changes from there. Hope this helps.

I had the same experience as Lifter, using the "create/edit application" option. I sure wish I'd printed out the review page before logging off and it sh!t-canned everything! My guess is either 1) they're still tweaking, but wanted folks to submit some apps to see how the system worked or 2)this is all some sadistic game where it works only for some, thus lulling the rest of us into repeadetly banging our heads against the wall. Now I'm off to go bang my head against the wall some more! Get some!!

Still Not Working for me

Thanks for trying to help, but still nothing. That is the same procedure I was using. When I try create/edit the screen comes up with only my name and address. No DL # or any of the answers to basic SW questions. After I fill those in again, and preview, all other ( Employment, flight times, residence) are blank.

To top it off I even received a confirmation email. At when I finished the first time I printed out the preveiw so its simply a matter of retyping it. Just confirm I didn't miss a save btton, I used the done icon.

Confirmation email?

I had no problem at all doing the app, and it is there every time I go into edit to make a change. I have never received a confirmation email though. Anyone else?

Are you using Internet Explorer? Other browsers may have problems with the app. When you log back in do you see the questions about traffic violations and DUI if you scroll down the page? The questions should be there even if the answers are blank.

And the app does not send out any confirmation emails.

Yes, Yes and still doesn't work

Yes I log back in answer the questions, get to the create/edit application and Manage/edit account, select create/edit then next page where you originally start application comes up, only name address is filled in. All other block are blank throughout entire application.
Email from HQ_SWA must come from updating the manage account portion.

Something else must be wrong.

I've had the same problem. I've submitted two applications in two days, and they're both gone, as far as I can tell. Frustrating, I know. Hopefully tomorrow it'll work.

Maybe the IT's have been busting their butts to get this thing out for the 12th and finished early and decided to take the weekend off. just my 2cents.

Hum... I went to the website, and amazing.... no where does it say "You must wait until 12 Jan 2004 to apply".
I have a couple of friends who had very little problem filling out the app. The only time it erased all the info, was when they logged out before ALL the information was in. Good luck to all you out there applying and lets hope interviews get cranked up soon.

Maybe they set it up to weed people out that can't figure out the difference between manage account and edit application.

I have flown over 30 types of planes. I havent gone past the "things to bring page" Do i need to list all 30?

I understand that it only wants you to breakdown the different types of A/C and flight times for the past 5 years. Everything else is general total time questions.
