Southwest Airlines and International Brotherhood of Teamsters Ratify Mechanics' Contract

DALLAS, Oct. 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Southwest Airlines' (NYSE: LUV - News) 1,300 Mechanics, represented by the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, today ratified an agreement extending their contract through August 16, 2005. The contract will include pay increases for all Mechanics, along with stock options, to be granted at today's fair market value of Southwest Airlines stock.
