I thought I heard that the results from the LAS bid were out yesterday. Were there any surprises? Will newhires be going there instead of OAK or MCO? Anyone have an idea how long it will take a newhire to get to MDW now? Thanks

Seniority for new hires now looks like this, from most junior...

OAK
LAS
PHX
MCO

To get into the other bases as a newhire , it'll take some good growth to get a good number of guys below you. With next year's slowdown, looks like MDW/BWI could be a while. Maybe longer for DAL/HOU.

Good Luck,
shootr

I hope your right Gup! You guys heard anything for sure yet, anymore interviews or classes this year?

an average of 3 a/c delivered between now and the end of the year.

average of 1.5 airplanes per month will be delivered in 2008.

Who knows what will happen....what if the revenues take off like the mgmt would want to see?

If the plan stays the same....I guess this slowdown will be no different than the ones we have seen in the past here at good ole SWA.

Remember guys...this has happened here at SWA before.
