SWA June DB?

I interviewed last week and the reference calls started going out today. Anyone else getting calls? Also any word on when the June DB will be? Trying hard to contain myself.

Interviewed 17 May, haven't heard anything from my references. Was there one week or two weeks of interviews in May? good luck to all who interviewed. There were a lot of great people there.

Congrats on having refs called. Thats a big hurdle imho. Now just relax enjoy the family because it is out of your control now and there is nothing left to do but wait. But you should be in good shape for a call to continue next month.

Thanks for the support. So no news on when the DB will be? I have heard that someone talking with the OAK CP was told the DB would be 1-2 weeks early this time. Anyone in the know?

Yikes, someone from my interview group emailed me saying he heard that our DB was June 28. My wife will have me locked in a padded room by then. I am trying to contact my SWA friends to confirm. I am hoping Bigred is right.

One more question. Is it true that the Chief Pilot's try to time the calls for approximately the same time the letters would arrive? So the calls should go out a week or so after the DB is completed?

After the DB call times have varied. In my March DB the letters were recieved days before calls even started to go out. Some poeple got calls several days apart from each other. Talk about panic... As long as you don't get a letter your still in the game.

Couple things:
-heard the pool is very, very shallow. Those that do get called after the DB could be in class very soon.

-also heard that they've confirmed two classes for july, got the impression there could be a third.

Not sure what order they go in. Last name starts with H, interviewed on 17 May. One other guy from my interview group has emailed me saying he got the call too. I really did not expect to hear anything until Friday. Good luck

Keep the faith. I got called this morning at 7:00 am Central Time. I read this board last night (June 7th) and was a little panicked to hear that folks had gotten called. I was told that folks at the PD had a late night last night. Keep the faith....hopefully more calls coming today.

Looking forward to class at HP and SWA. "Thank you!" to everyone who posted all the info and gouge on this board over the last few years.
