SWA Decision Board Question

SW Folks,
How often do the DB's meet? For the group of guy's, and gal's interviewing in Nov will there be a DB by the end of the year or should we look for one in Jan.

that may vary at this time of year and in the past they have skipped the dec. to do one "big" one for nov/dec in jan. normally they meet the month after any month in which there were interviews, typically in the third week on tues/wed.

According to my CP they will have a decision board every month following a month that there were interviews. If intereviewed in NOV your DB will be DEC. If there are no interviews in Dec there will be no DB in Jan. Everyone who is interviewed goes before the DB. From what my CP said recommendation letters from SWA pilots can sometimes override a bad interview, and the reverse is true. Not having any letters from a SWA pilot will not hurt you. The DB consisits of all pilots. The 7 Domicle Chiefs. 1 of the sytem Chiefs from HQ, and 1 of the pilots who run the training center.
