SWA background check

Did anyone else get a background check packet in the mail recently? My last one was about a year old, wondering if that is just a annual thing, or if they might be getting ready for some more classes this year.

Last time I talked to LL I was told that they had hired 148 (140 projected), and were done for the year subject to change. I'm at #25 on the list, and she said that I would be in the second class, maybe the fist.

Hey Swimmer,

I had my background check done again about a year later. I believe it was March that I did the second background update...
So Yeah, to answer your question, I have to say its an annual thing.
But recently, a bunch of us in the pool have been asked to come complete the fingerprinting. I go do mine tomorrow.

Maybe they could be gearing up for something. Its all I can hope for!!!!

I talked to Lyndsey about a month ago on the very same subject.

I'm #133. She said that since they are not planning on any more classes for the year, at least for people way up the list like me.

They were thinking it would be more economical to do the background checks again in fall to guarantee they would be current even if I had a late Spring "04 class date.

Don't sweat it swimmer...
