I have seen several of my clients called in the past three months without a type. The market is getting tougher for employers as there are more options for pilots of airlines that are hiring.

Here is an interesting trend. Continental Airlines types their new hire pilots right away. What has been happening recently is pilots are getting typed and then leaving for SWA. Wonder how long the CO immediate type rating will last now.
