I was in MSP today and taxied to 30L behind SWA. As far as I knew, SWA doesnt go to MSP. Any of you guys know?

I don't think so, but I do know that occasionally, they will fly charters. In fact, when I was in the Air Force, I had the pleasure to taxi behind 2 SWA 737s at Pope Air Force Base, NC.

I've seen SWA in PIT also, just charters to LAS I believe. LL told me that no new cities are planned this year. I'm sure the demise of a major player could change that though....

I saw a MSP charter in opentime (MDW) that would have left MSP in the early morning on the 29th. Sorry can't help with a rumor.

the wovles got schooled today wow. I believe the mavericks travel around in a 757 owned by owner mark cuban. i have seen SWA a few times flying out of the new humphrey terminal in MSP doing charters, the last charter i saw was 2 SWA planes for a volunteer fire fighters going somewhere. if SWA wanted to start service out of MSP they have a brand new 16 gate humphrey terminal they could operate out of seperate from the main terminal. it is similar to the SWA terminal in STL, perfect setup fpr SWA style, and if they came into to MSP, NWA would be in big trouble!!!!!!! I wouldnt be surprised if NWA is paying SWA right now alot of cash just to stay out of MSP
