Is it worth going to this if you do not have the time? Just to drop your resume?

Yes, take many copies and hand them to recruiter from every airline you might be remotely interested in and some to those you aren't (ya never know). Many here will tell you not to. I know better from experience and the experiences of many I know who are in jobs for which they got their foot in the door at an Airinc convention. It's a fact that some companies give some weight to convention attendees. I doubt SWA does, but don't know for sure.

Ducking now for all the Darby bashers that would have you sit on your a$$ hoping the job will come to you.

PS. I don't recommend most of the seminars and a lot of the material there for sale, but the face-to-face handshake can't hurt.
