This is disturbing. Makes me wonder if they didn't do this to destroy morale and lower expectations. On the other hand, maybe I've been in denial about exactly why things here have entirely derailed.

speedstick

I always took Brad as a no b.s. kind of guy. If someone came at me with this name and all the "this corner means we have good airplanes and this corner means expressjet...." I would have fired them on the spot.

I don't know if I am more shocked over how stupid and gay the name is or the fact that not only did Brad sign off on this BUT Jerry too!

As if things were not bad enough...they have just made us the laughing stock of the airline industry.

Any ounce of respect for Brad I had just went out the window.

ALPA: There better be a DAMN good pay raise in this!!!!!!

This is what I keep struggling with too, how the .... did this get approved?

I'm really at a loss, that a majority of whatever group of employees, didnt object to this name.

Does ANYONE know one person who participated in this name game?

I suspect this is the work of corp comm and marketing with upper mgmts approval. I just can't imagine ja would've let this fly.

This has Kate M's name ALL over it. She is incredibly full of herself.

It's definitely got a woman's touch. If they would involve pilots more into all the operations of this company, crap like this wouldn't be a normal occurance.

I might remind you of Kiwi Airlines before putting pilots in charge.

May I propose "Bubba?"

The response of the Friends and Families at the A-Tech when the name was announced:

The quietest place I have ever been and the Zombie look on every mug in the place!
----Priceless!

Not even Uncle Rico could save the day with his folksy spin.
