Your Local Air Traffic Controllers Need Your Help NOW!

On Wednesday, June 7th the United States House of Representatives will be voting on HR5449 which would restore fair bargaining to the FAA. This legislation would simply direct the FAA to use the Federal Services Impasse Panel to resolve the dispute. The same entity used by other federal employees and their employer.

As you know the air traffic controllers that guide you home each day are a dedicated, highly-skilled group of professionals that always put safety first.

By next year, the FAA’s plan could compel 1 in 4 controllers to retire in order to preserve their annuity rather than continuing to perform their critical jobs. The FAA plan ultimately includes user fees that will force many operators out of business eliminating pilot jobs.

Support the ones that guide you home! Please call your Congressman today and ask for a yes vote on HR5449. (Most offices have voice mail, so calls outside of business hours are acceptable)

Call Congress NOW at 1-877-FAIR-FAA

I'm all for what's best for controllers and pilots and no user fees, but I'm curious why AOPA hasn't spoken up on this issue regarding ATC, of course it's fighting against user fees, but I haven't heard a lot from them on ATC.

What about support for the "air traffic controlled"? Those guys got pensions and "stay paid" work rules, a lot of us don't have richard.

You ask the same questions, I give the same answers. What can I do? WHo can I write? I'm happy to help. You have to tell me how, though.

Exactly, we are all in this together. Most of the controllers I know feel the same way as you.

It's a big sky out there, we don't need them...luck be a lady tonight (singing).

Ya I contacted my congressman for you guys....but in this republican controlled congress......this bill has ZERO chance!!! Good luck though! I'm pulling for ya!

I say BEND OVER Hold, you're about to feel all the love the FAA has to give. :D

Last time I checked, when you flunked out of driving the catering truck they sent you to ATC school! A nice reality check is what all you overpaid "specialists" need.

Trust me, like Reagan did a few decades ago, we'll be "JUST FINE" without you. Buh-bye.

PS Rarely do I take joy in anyone's misery, but for special PR#CKS like you, I'll make an exception!!
