Now that Sun Country is hiring again, I was wondering what the QOL is like nowadays? How is it if you live out of base? Any new info would be greatly appreciated.

I know that you haven't heard about any yet, maybe they have not happened at all, but, how was the interview process back in the day??

In 96 it was very basic. No sim, just an interview with the head of the training dept. and the C.P. I know the last time they hired in 2000-01 they had a sim and took you out for lunch and then an interview. The process has changed with every new C.P and probably will change again since now we have a new C.P. It's anyones guess to how the interviews will be conducted. Good luck. Keep us up to date.

Thanks Schaf for the info.

Do many of the pilots commute from out of state??

Yes. A handful or more do and don't seem to mind too much. We are CASS which makes it easier to commute, it's even easier if you live in a city in which SCA has service.
