Seen on TV in the Detroit area, a new airline is suppose to starting up in May, flying from YIP to LVS, $2000 round trip, it will have 20 live strip dancers on board in additional to 2 fully clothed FA's. They are suppose to be doing this in 30 series 9's. Does anyone know anything about this, they most likely will be doing it under someone else's certificate, does anyone know anything about this?

I am sitting home with a medical, so I haven't heard anything; But it sounds like Spirits founder and ex-owner. He owns a few "retired" (for lack of upgraded cockpit door) DC9-30's, and he owns/owned part of a Detroit area strip club. Another piece of circumstantial evidence is that he started Spirit as a gambling town carrier when he recognized a need for DTW to ACY service.

regards,
enigma

BTW you I assume you mean LAS instead of LVS. I can't imagine that anyone would pay two grand to get to north central New Mexico, even under the presence of twenty strippers.

If I didn't have anything else to do that day and I had some extra cash laying around I might do it. But I would need a written guarantee that the strippers would be hot.

2k. better get more than a good view. :p

When times get tough for this airline, what do you go after for concessions from an onboard stripper. Ask for additional onboard services maybe? Makes you wonder.

I think the answer's simple: You take away their "uniforms". Drives down costs AND draws in customers.

I wonder if those SWA guys could get a job there.

Strip Club in the sky

I was wondering when the SWA 'knocking' would begin.

Sounds to me like an overpriced version of Hooters Air w/o the wings.

Yuck

Well, I wouldn't stick around to help clean the seats after you land, that's for **CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED** sure!

what if your in the middle seat or window seat and you want a lap dance? guess that means she has to craw a over everyone else.

If she has to crawl all over everyone else for me to get my dance then everyone else better chip in to cover the costs...there's not much room between the seats so anyone near will be getting as good a show as anyone else!

you would think the russians or someone would have beat us to this by now.... ONLY IN AMERICA

I should be more specific about the mile high sign-off. I would like my girlfriend to give me the practical test. Hahahaha.:D

I think I read that ???It's on the tip of my brain....crap, I can't remeber their name now (Fresno based, fly mainly charters and gamblers) was going to start flying from YIP to Vegas, could be them, they fly 9's and 80's

You're anxious to see Russian strippers? "Russian woman should be strong, like bull..."

(Yeah, yeah, I know. For every tractor-in-a-skirt there's a Paulina Porizkova...I'd pay $2K for that!)
