The Irish did indeed suck this past year...and I don't think Charlie is gonna get it together this year either. Personally, I think firing Tyrone was pretty bogus. Eh, just whatever...they're my secondary team. My primary team (Go Mean Green!) sucked even worse this past season. What can I say, I like "underdogs" (it builds character)...which I'm aware does not explain my support of ND.

Boise State is in the WAC, therefore out of Conference, probably gonna have to schedule YEARS in advance. If you look at 'SC's non-conf schedule, it's pretty dam scary. Notre Shame is a given because of the rivalry. Virginia (at Virgina) and Ohio State is not too shabby.

If your team is going to play a powderpuff OOC team, they could at least try to take on the best Non-BCS team in the country. That's ok though, they'll do your Trojans a favor by adding one to the loss column for Oregon this year.

'SC's D coordinator Nick Holt came directly from Head Coaching the Idaho Vandals. While he was at Idaho, that game was scheduled. And if you want to look at scheduling patsies, you better look East to the SEC. They usually schedule Citadel, W. Kentucky, S. Georgia and play them at HOME. As the SEC rarely travels. 2007 is last year, last I checked, 2008 is what we're waiting for. If Notre Shame ever comes out of their hole, I'd say 'SC has one of the toughest NON-CONF schedules out there. Plus 'SC travels to play.

Hey, maybe Boise State can make it to the tidy bowl and play pitt for 9th place. I hope so, that will be really exciting and probably record breaking for the State. Smurf turf can then be marketed all around and every student will then get free education from all that revenue!

Non-Conf. games are usually scheduled YEARS in advance. Most of the time with the ebb and flow of programs rising and falling, you can never know how "good" teams will be 4 years from now.

Hey, I'm just going off the fact that your same ESPN analysts (and SI) ranked the SEC #1 Conference and the Pac 10 a close 2nd. You don't get that kind of attention unless you have some good football teams. Notre Dame is the 2nd winningest program of all time. Where does Boise State rank?

BYU still have their crazy Offensive formations, I believe left over from Norm Chow (now at fUCLA--Head Coached by Rick Nieuheisel the man who single handedly destroy Univ. Washington).
